Today was a massive day… started with a shoot of a kitchen, bathroom and other cabinetry in Coburg and ended with a double header of Nat Allison at the Duke and then shooting Atomic Riot, Cassidy Paris and H.E.A.T at the Prince Bandroom in St Kilda.
Always nice to have a gig shoot to look forward to after a busy day. I was able to make it to Nat Allison‘s covers gig at The Duke in the city for a set or two before high-tailing it down to St Kilda’s Prince Bandroom on Fitzroy Street for the next installment of the night.
The venue was slowly filling when I arrived but I was lucky enough to find a spot down front to set myself up for the bands ahead. Atomic Riot was first to hit the stage with their own brand of pub rock to warm up the crowd.
Next up was Cassidy Paris, to continue to entertain the crowd, along with her band, made up with some of the members of Wicked Smile and a guest appearance from Danny Cecati to sing “Stronger”, Cassidy was great to shoot and made it a joy to be in the crowd to see her show and document the night through photos.
The crowd started chanting “Heat, Heat Heat” as they waited patiently for the headline to hit the stage, after a pedal issue that had to be fixed the band came out to the stage and started with a bang. The guys looked so happy to be on stage in Melbourne and did not disappoint the crowd with their energetic and all round awesome performance. it’s not often you see a band that just looks happy to be on stage doing what they do and this was one of those rare occurrences.
The chanting continued throughout the set and I was delighted to be able to get so many photos of such an epic performance. Check out the full gallery at Silver Tiger Media‘s website if you’d like to see all the photos from this fun gig!
On to the next one… 😁🤘
